Oh! I totally forgot about you wanting to borrow it... But that's fine... 1 litre of tears isn't the series, it's just the movie, you know that right? ^^

I can bring them to school Tuesday next week, 5 euros each possible for you? Otherwise you can still borrow them instead :3

"All of them are Hong Kong version (legal just... the ones they sell in HK) unless otherwise specified"

Depends on where you bought it from. Because usually almost all Japanese production that comes with Chinese and English subs are not legit. And are called the common "HK rips." (Some may contain Japanese subs though). The way they are made is basically using Chinese subs from the fansub world mixed with Japanese DVD rips of the show, and some dude does a poor translation on it using the Chinese subs. This case is apparent with the anime Deltora Quest DVD 1 (ep 1-26), English subs were so terrible that the spelling of the characters names were off, by a mile. This HK rip was only available for HK and the region (Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, etc).

It may not contain English and Chinese subs, but I suggest buying from play-asia next time. They are completely legit. Though, pricey. I bought Himawari!! (Season 2), the complete set from them.

All are bought from Yesasia :) I think they're alright, but I might be off... Buying Japanese versions is just not an option for me atm (too pricey, and ... well, that would mean my family and friends can't watch with me because of a lack of English subs). DVDs I have are good quality though, at the very least :)

Thanks for the suggestion though ^^

Yes-Asia are legit. But the case with Japanese DVD's with Chinese AND English subs sounds fishy. I mean, if you think about it logically, how did they come up with the English translation, you'll obviously end up in the same end as a "HK rip." Also, from the sound of it, it may be that they are selling both the pirate and real copies of shows. Anything to complete with rivalry and for business to keep running. Anyhow, do note one thing, Play-Asia doesn't sell PlayStation games to EU after the Lik-Sung incident.
